Presidential Elections 2023 – Statement by the Chief Returning Officer, Dr Costas Constantinou, on the final percentage of voter turnout

The process of collecting the final voter turnout for the Presidential Elections 2023 has been completed.

It is therefore announced that, according to the available data, the final voter turnout, a few minutes before the closing of the ballot boxes has reached 72% of all registered voters. That is to say, 404,022 citizens went to the polling stations to exercise their right to vote.

For comparison purposes, it is noted that during the previous Presidential Elections of 2018, the final voter turnout was 71,88%, which shows an increase of around 0,1%.

We have allowed some extra time, for the results of the ΕΧΙΤ POLLS to be announced.These were transmitted a short while ago by the tv channels. So we now have the results regarding the election process.
