Elections 2024 – Registration on the electoral roll

The Ministry of Interior announces that all citizens of the Republic of Cyprus aged 18 years and over who are habitually residents in Cyprus as well as citizens of other Member States of the European Union who reside in Cyprus and are registered on the relevant electoral rolls have the right to vote in the upcoming elections for Members of the European Parliament and Local Authorities.

The last day of submission of applications for registration is 2^nd April 2024. Therefore, those interested are invited to apply to be registered on the electoral rolls in due time in order to exercise their right to vote. After the above date, no new registration and/or change can be made on the electoral rolls.

Young people who will reach the age of 18 by 9^th June 2024, the date of the elections, i.e. those born on or before 9^th June 2006, have the right to be registered on the electoral rolls. In this case too, the application must be submitted in advance and no later than 2^nd April 2024.

For citizens aged 25 and under, applications can be submitted online via the elections website at elections.gov.cy.

Paper applications can be submitted to the local offices of the District Administrations, the Citizen Service Centres (KEP) and the Citizens Centres (KE.PO) – Cyprus Post. Application forms can be obtained from the aforementioned places, as well as from the Election Service of the Ministry of Interior and the elections website.
